Privacy
This page is short because we keep very little: your email, so we can write to you once when Velvet Almanac opens.
Who we are
Velvet Almanac is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@velvetalmanac.com.
What we keep
When you join the waiting list we keep:
- your email address;
- the source tags in the link you followed, if any (for example, which ad brought you here);
- the time you signed up, and the country your connection came from, as our hosting provider reports it;
- whether you were among the first 20 to join, who receive their Birth Reading free.
Your birth date stays with you
The birth date you type to try the reading is worked out in your own browser. It is never sent to us and never stored.
Why we keep it
Only to email you once, when Velvet Almanac opens. We don’t send anything else, and we don’t sell or share your email. We keep it because you asked us to.
Where it is kept
With Cloudflare, our hosting provider.
How long
Until Velvet Almanac opens and we have sent that one email, plus a short time after, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Cookies and counting visits
This page sets no cookies and has no advertising or tracking pixels. After you join, your browser keeps a small note that you have joined, so the page doesn’t ask again; it stays on your device and you can clear it with your browser data.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, at any time. Email hello@velvetalmanac.com and we will do it. Every email we send also has a link to unsubscribe. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
